Psychotherapy: I aim to provide a supportive environment where you will feel deeply understood and which may enable exploration of your inner world. When appropriate, I gently challenge in order to facilitate understanding and growth. This work is long term and in depth. Generally, we will work with issues from childhood or the past which impact on the present. We may also explore meaning and purpose for deeper fulfilment. The relationship between your body, mind and feelings and the felt sense are important components of this work and mindfulness may be used in the sessions to help promote deeper awareness.
Counselling: Short term and focussed in order to address a specific issue, counselling
